Tucked away on the corner of Tai Ping Shan Street, Sheung Wan is Embla, a Nordic fine dining restaurant. They offer innovative, naturally-sourced, seasonal dishes inspired by Swedish gastronomy.
Embla’s visual identity is inspired by the cycles of creation and renewal. The name is derived from the Norse legend of the first man and woman on earth, Askr and Embla. The brand mark serves as a visual reference to the tree trunks from which Askr and Embla were carved from, whilst its roots reference traditional representations of Norse mythology’s ‘Yggdrasil’, the Tree of Life that binds the cosmos together.
An escape from the hectic lifestyle of Hong Kong, Embla is a warm haven, returning to a slow-paced, relaxed Nordic lifestyle.
